1. Daylight Savings Time has come, and Spring is here. We have changed the
batteries in our smoke detectors, and spring cleaning, yard work, home
repairs, new exercise regimens and countless outdoor activities have begun.
These activities can be performed safely if we make a deliberate effort to
apply the same risk management principles we use everyday in our Coast Guard
duties.
